About this work
City view with the Rue Pirouette at the old fish market of Paris, the Halle aux Poissons. On the facades the names of the merchants can be read, such as the wine merchant, butcher and tobacconist. On the side of the house on the right various advertisements stand. At the butcher the pigs and hams hang outside. On the street residents of the city walk.
