About this work

Flora or the personification of Spring sits next to a youthful man in front of a pergola. They represent the sanguine temperament of the pleasure-seekers. In the background on the left some love couples by a fountain. In the background on the right dancing couples. At the top left, middle and right signs of the zodiac: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, which correspond to the element air. Below a four-line Latin inscription.
