About this work
Funeral procession, leading to a grave being dug in a cemetery on the left. At the front of the procession, singing boys, passing under a gate; behind them, a boy with a crucifix, two acolytes, and a priest. Behind the priest, the bearers of the coffin. Behind the coffin, the family members walk: first the gentlemen, then the ladies. The whole in an ornamental border consisting of angels, symbols of death, and leafy vines.
