About this work

The personifications of non-Christian peoples look up in wonder at Christ. He thrones in heaven on a rainbow, surrounded by angels. Above his head burns a flame; with one foot he tramples the serpent of evil, with the other he stands on a skull. One angel points to a sheet with a Bible quote from Isaiah 45:22 in Dutch. The other two hold a banner.
