About this work

Possibly a caricature of a woman who has gained power and wealth through her marriages. The first face is likely a female face, with the inscription: '1. My beauty makes this strange quarter, I play the boss in my way.' The ram's head has the inscription: '2. My first husband was a Sheep, Rest assured, as long as I gather joy.' Next to the first man's head it says: '3. When this old man came for me, I immediately made a Ram of him.' Next to the second man's head it says: '4. The last one with his chest full of money, now makes sure no trouble troubles me.'
