About this work
The sacrament of confirmation. Before an altar stands a bishop administering confirmation to a kneeling boy in front of him. On either side of him, an altar server. The Holy Spirit in the form of a dove hovers above the boy's head. Behind him stands a gentleman who places his hands on the boy's shoulders. Next to him, three other kneeling children. Title in two languages below the image. The scene is framed by an ornamental border.
