About this work

A fashionably dressed lady and gentleman drink chocolate. Between them stands a small table with a jug of chocolate milk. The lady offers the gentleman a cup. The inscription indicates that the gentleman would prefer the taste of the 'rose' over that of a cup of chocolate. The print is part of a series on the five senses.
