About this work

A gentleman dressed in the fashion of ca. 1660, standing before the steps of a house. He is dressed in a doublet with a wide lace collar, over which a wide sash is worn to which his sword is attached. Breeches with bows, stockings, and shoes with bows. His hair is long. He holds his hat in his right hand.
