About this work
Sheet with two prints from a series, originally bound as an album. Top: People pray towards heaven. They are freed from evil by angels. Rays shine from heaven upon them. The Latin inscription is a part of the prayer the Our Father. Bottom: The Trinity is worshipped by people and angels. God the Father sits on a globe with his crucified son Christ on his lap. Above them the dove of the Holy Spirit. Around the globe the symbols of the four evangelists (the apocalyptic beasts) and music-making angels.
