About this work

Christ with the Cross stands in the middle of four penitent sinners who worship him. On the left is Mary Magdalene, next to her the penitent thief who was crucified with Christ. On the right are King David and the Prodigal Son. Above, Christ hovers with the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.
