About this work

Adam and Eve and their children Cain and Abel in the wilderness outside paradise. Adam tills the ground while Eve gives breast to Abel. Cain warms himself by the fire. Around them various animals. In the background an angel with a flaming sword guards the entrance to paradise. Below the depiction an explanatory text in Latin. This print is part of an album.
