About this work

Blue album page pasted with cut-out prints by various printmakers featuring mythological creatures, fabulous beasts, real animals, and humans. At the top, two Nereids. Below, a study sheet with curiosities including fabulous beasts, a soldier with horns, a basilisk viewing its reflection, fighting monsters, and an identical twin fused together. Below that, a depiction of a woman with a lyre at an altar and two men bringing a ram and fruit. At the bottom, fish, a crab, a snail, and a seal. Standing human figures at the lower left and right.
