About this work

'Modes de Longchamps'. Standing man in a redingote with a lapel and square collar. Long breeches of suede. On his head, a tall hat. Short walking stick in hand. Shoes with square toes and spurs. In the background, a figure seen from the back, wearing a similar redingote. Print from the fashion magazine *Petit Courrier des Dames* (1821–1868). Bound (with a few pages of *Le Journal des Dames et des Modes*). 15 January 1827 to 20 March 1830. Incomplete.
