About this work
The opening of the fifth seal: at an altar stand the souls, all receiving white robes. Below it the opening of the sixth seal: burning stars fall to earth after an earthquake. In the margin a four-line inscription in Latin. Fifth print from a series of twenty-four on the Revelation of John on Patmos.
