About this work

Adam and Eve stand on either side of the tree of good and evil, with Eve reaching out to pick the apple. A snake coils around the tree. In the background on the left, an angel with a flaming sword drives Adam and Eve out of Paradise. In the foreground in Paradise stand various animals, including dogs, birds, horses, a cow, a dromedary, a monkey, a cat, a deer, and a goat.
