About this work
Blindfolded Ignorance, with a jester's stick and donkey ears, held by two men in chains. The man on the left holds a mask in his hand; the man on the right points to an angel on a small hill. The angel, in turn, points to the sky where a crown rests within the radiant symbol of eternity, the serpent biting its own tail.
