About this work
Standing lady, seen from the front, wearing a fan costume with a broad collar and holding a fan. In the background, small figures in a village or town. This print is part of a series of 12 prints depicting noblemen in costumes worn in Lorraine in the first quarter of the 17th century; half the series shows men's costumes, the other half shows women's costumes.
