Young elegant abbot, sitting on a chair, reading a self-written poem. He wears a soutanelle and a waistcoat over breeches with a buckle at the hem. Around his neck a cravat. On his coiffure 'demi-grecque' a skullcap. Stockings and shoes with buckles. Ring on his finger. Print from series M. 12th Cahier de Costumes Français, 6th Suite d'Habillemens à la mode and 1778, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
