About this work
Woman's bust with deep décolleté, in an oval. Coiffure, where the hair is combed smoothly back, frizzed up on top as a 'hérisson' and has curls at the back and sides like the hairstyle 'à l'enfance'. The whole is decorated with a crown of flowers. Earring in the right ear. Print from series oo. 38th Cahier des Costumes Français, 9th Suite des Coeffures à la mode en 1781, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
