Woman with poke bonnet of 'paille d'Italie', adorned with flowers and marabou feathers. She wears a jacket of cotton batiste (percale), with a bodice of smocked muslin. The skirt is decorated at the bottom with strips of muslin and remplis. Further accessories: checkered fichu with fringe, striped belt (?), reticule (handbag), shoe with bow.
