About this work
Japanese foulard gown with a sash around the waist. The fabric was designed by Raoul Dufy. They were made by the renowned silk manufacturer Bianchini Férier, for whom Dufy worked as a designer between 1912 and 1928. Thanks to this collaboration, he became one of the most important textile designers of the 20th century. Croquis No IIII from Gazette du Bon Ton 1920, No. 1.
