About this work
A young Englishwoman wearing a hat called 'Chapeau angloman'. Her wavy hair falls forward onto her forehead 'à la Jaquet'. She wears a caraco with wide lapels over a skirt trimmed with a ruffled strip of fabric. Fichu. Heeled shoes with buckles(?). According to the caption, she intends to make her fortune in Paris. Print from series xxx.
