About this work

From left to right. Two female busts: bonnet decorated with a garland of roses and 'pierrot' with yellow collar, trimmed with blue silk. 'Fraise' with scalloped hem. Young man in 'négligé': blue redingote on a red waistcoat and yellow breeches. Muff under the arm. Telescope in the left hand. Woman dressed in a pierrot and skirt of grey striped satin. Fur muff with a red bow. The print is part of the 8th Cahier, 4th year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 - 21 December 1789.
