Woman to the right, according to the accompanying text dressed in a purple taffeta pierrot and a purple 'jupon', both trimmed with white. Fichu of white gauze, crossed over the chest. In her right hand a folding fan, decorated with three oval medallions. On her head a tall hat of white taffeta, decorated with purple ribbon and feathers. The print is the right half of the 8th Cahier, 1st year, of the fashion magazine Journal de la Mode et du Goût ou amusemens du salon et de la toilette, Paris, 25 February 1790-1 April 1793.
