About this work

Standing woman dressed in a 'deshabillé', consisting of a white 'pierrot' (caraco) and skirt, trimmed at the hem with yellow and purple. Around her shoulders a yellow shawl with red stripes. On her head a hat with ribbon bows. The print is the right half of the 13th Cahier, 3rd year, of the fashion magazine Journal de la Mode et du Goût ou amusemens du salon et de la toilette, Paris, 25 February 1790-1 April 1793.
