Standing woman with a 'toquet' on her head, smocked at the back. She wears a redingote with a lapel. Around her shoulders a long scarf with a circular motif. Gold necklace with a heart-shaped crystal pendant. Further accessories: earring in the left ear, coin (?), shoes with pointed toes. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Sellèque, Paris, 1797-1839. The print was previously published in the Journal des Modes et Nouveautés as number 4, with the caption 'Costumes'.
