Woman, seen from the back, standing in front of an easel with canvas. 'Coeffure' decorated with an arrow and an inverted hair comb. She wears an apron over a gown with a train. Further accessories: earring in her right ear, flat shoes. Painter's stick, palette and brushes in her hands. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
