Seven headgear, a hairnet, and a 'coeffure' in one frame, numbered one to eight: '1, 'coeffure' decorated with a hydrangea and a hair comb. 2, capotes of cotton batiste (percale). 3, straw hat. 4, cornette of organdie. 5, hat 'à fond Rodé'. 6, 'réseau' (hairnet) of lace. 7, capote of taffeta. 8, capote decorated with carnations. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797–1839.
