1. Beret of crêpe from the shops of Madame Mure. Dress of 'toile de laine', decorated with ribbons of silk. Mantle of velvet lined with 'lavantine'. Accessories: earrings, necklace, bracelets on both wrists, shoes with crossed straps and square toes. 2. 'Capote' of satin. Redingote of 'gros de Naples'. Trousers of 'satin Turc'. Print from the fashion magazine Townsend's Monthly Selection of Parisian Costumes (London 1823-1888).
