About this work

Standing woman in a fur-trimmed mantle over a gown with a lapel and long sleeves. The hem is decorated with a floral and leaf motif. Accessories: cap or turban with feathers, earring in the right ear, a fur collar (?), a large fur muff. Print from the fashion magazine Journal des Luxus und der Moden, published by Friedrich Justin Bertuch and Georg Melchior Kraus, Weimar, 1786-1826.
