About this work
Two women, numbered 1 and 2, dressed in gowns with canezous. The boy, number 3, is an adapted copy (here with the arm down) from Pl. 388, 1826, Petit Courrier des Dames. He wears a sailor suit of goat's wool. Hat or 'chapeau casquette' of 'crin'. Jump rope in hand. Print from the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, Frankfurt-am-Main, 1798-1848.
