About this work

Standing woman dressed in a jacket of tulle adorned with a garland of flowers, including a skirt of satin trimmed with tulle. 'Coiffure' executed by Narcisse and adorned with flowers from the forest from the shops of Cartier. Further accessories: earrings, long gloves, fan, flat shoes with crossed straps. Figure in the same jacket, seen from the back, seated on a tabouret. Print from the fashion magazine Petit Courrier des Dames (1821-1868).
