About this work

Two ladies and a gentleman in an interior. Standing woman in a gown of 'gaze Sylphide' decorated with blonde (bobbin lace). 'Coiffure' by Mr. Sergent. Scarf of embroidered silk muslin. Further accessories: necklace, brooch, long gloves, fan, flat shoes with crossed straps and square toes. Print from the fashion magazine La Mode (1829-1855).
