A woman, standing in a doorway, gives a letter to a running boy. She wears a sleeveless spencer over a jacket with long sleeves. Hair styled without head covering. Flat shoes with pointed toes. The print is part of a series of 52 fashion prints, 'Modes et Manières du Jour', Paris, 1799-1808.
