Woman with a quill in her hand, standing by a table with a paper and ink pot. According to the caption: 'chapeau Castillan' decorated with feathers of the bird of paradise. Dress of 'velours plain' on 'satin broché d'or' from the shops of Larcher, 'Couturière de la Reine'. Curls by Croizat. Figure in the same dress, seen from the back, sitting on a tabouret. Print from the fashion magazine Le Follet Courrier des Salons (November 1829–October 1882).
