Two women visiting the botanical garden (and zoo) 'Le Jardin des Plantes' in Paris. According to the caption: fabrics for the dresses of Gay & Denis, executed in the manner of Anna Gagueux. Lace mantlet (small shoulder cape) by Violard. Below, several lines of advertising text for various products. Print from the fashion magazine La Mode (1829-1855).
