About this work
Two women by a 'corbeille de mariage' or bridal basket. The bride wears a bridal gown with long sleeves, pointed bodice and pleated wide skirt. On her head, a veil. She shows a bracelet to the seated woman. This woman wears a small shoulder cape over a checkered skirt. On her head, a canopy hat with ribbon bows.
