About this work
Two women and a girl in a garden. Left: dark green dress with scalloped hem. Bodice with a row of bows in the front and on the sleeve. Wide skirt with three ruffled strips of fabric, decorated with a zig-zag pattern. Right: striped dress with a drawstring closure in the front, at the sleeves and on the apron (?). The girl wears a pink dress with a polka dot pattern. Below the image a few lines of information about the fashion magazine. Print from the fashion magazine Magasin des Demoiselles (1844-1896).
