About this work

Two women in an interior. Left: cloak with floral and leaf pattern on a wide skirt. Right: evening dress with boat neckline, short sleeves and pointed bodice. Wide skirt with five gathered strips of fabric with scalloped hem over which a long train. In the hair a diadem (?) of stars and veil. Further accessories: necklace, short gloves, bracelets. Print from the fashion magazine Journal des Demoiselles (1833-1922).
