About this work

Woman in a high-closed dress with pointed bodice and a row of buttons down the front. Low sleeve insertion with wide-flaring three-quarter sleeves and under-sleeves. Accessories: canopy hat, short gloves, bracelets on both wrists, bag (?) trimmed with tassels. Woman, standing at a dressing table, in a dress with leaf pattern. Bodice with square neckline, decorated with bows down the front. In the background a canopy. Below the image, several lines of information about the fashion magazine. Print from the fashion magazine La France Élégante (1854-1890).
