Two women on the beach, one holding a scoop net. The young woman wears a 'robe courte' of sky blue surah, embroidered 'à jours', and silk gauze with brocaded motifs. The woman on the right wears a 'toilette de casino' with a skirt of surah in the color 'felt', vertically pleated. Over this, a jacket of 'crêpon de soie moirée' in the same shade but with large dots. The bodice is of 'velours feutre', the sleeves and neck of which are decorated with lace and daisies. Straw hat, lined with bronze-colored 'faille', with a garland of roses. According to the inscription, the gowns are by Maison Fladry, successor to Coussinet.
