About this work

Sixteenth print from a series of drawing examples of unknown extent. Study sheet with top left a stork and heron, top right a flying fish. Below various figures including a river goddess and putto with torch. Left a man whose skeleton is shown from the left side. The various animals and figures are numbered in brown-black ink 36-44.
