About this work
God the Father seated on a throne holds the deceased Christ together with an angel. Above floats the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. The throne is surrounded by angels playing music and displaying the instruments of the Passion. On the left and right in the ornamental frame are Moses with the tablets of the law and the high priest Aaron. At the bottom, two four-line verses in Latin.
