A bird's-eye view of Yokohama. The red labels indicate the names of the various locations. In the lower left lies the entertainment district of Miyozaki, where the courtesans lived and worked. The foreigners lived in the district in the lower right, near the harbor. The Japanese themselves lived in the area in the upper right. (Yokohama-e triptych).
