Peter sleeps in prison, guarded by four soldiers who have also fallen asleep. An angel appears next to Peter, waking him so he can escape. Numbered VIIII in the lower left corner. A two-line Latin inscription in the lower margin. Part of a series of twelve scenes from the Acts of the Apostles. Part of an album with mainly Christian subjects.
