About this work

Cornelia, wife of Tiberius Gracchus and mother of the Gracchi brothers, as a virtuous housewife. She is portrayed as a good mother playing with her child and as a diligent housewife engaged in embroidery, spinning, bobbin lace making and sewing. In the background on the right, her husband Tiberius kills a snake. With an inscription in three columns in Latin. The print is part of an album.
