About this work

The discontented Israelites are punished with a plague of venomous snakes. They lie on the ground, bitten by the snakes. Moses and Aaron stand to the right next to a tau-shaped pole with a brazen serpent which will heal the people. In the bottom right, Moses kneels on a mountain before God the Father. The print is part of an album.
