About this work
Judas, with the devil, feels remorse after seeing that Christ is condemned to death. He brings the thirty pieces of silver back to the high priests and elders. They send him away again, however. Behind this, it can be seen how Christ is handed over to Pilate in the morning. At the back, Judas throws the silver pieces on the ground and hangs himself. Letters are placed at various elements of the scene. The print is part of an album.
