In the background, Saul is thrown by the light beam of his horse and lies on the ground. Soldiers stand around him in panic. Subsequently, the blind Saul is escorted by soldiers to Damascus, where he converts to Christianity and takes the name Paul. Letters are placed next to various elements of the representation. The print is part of an album.
