About this work

Christ gives his disciples the command to cross the Lake of Galilee. Then he goes alone up a mountain to pray (depicted in the upper right). On the Lake of Galilee, the boat with the disciples is battered by the waves. Christ walks over the lake towards them, and Peter comes to meet him. Because he doubts, he begins to sink, after which he is taken by the hand by Christ. Letters are placed at various elements of the composition. The print is part of an album.
